Size
Each pauldron is sized for 28/32mm heroic scale miniatures (typical shoulder width/height compatible with standard human-sized troopers; exact dimensions vary slightly by design). Models over 50mm in any dimension are often hollowed internally for better print quality, reduced weight, and more affordable pricing—ensuring they stay tough without sacrificing detail (these pauldrons are compact bits with no hollowing needed).
Print Quality Options
Choose the perfect resolution for your needs with our high-resolution 3D resin print options. Layer height (measured in microns) determines how thin each printed layer is: lower microns = thinner layers = finer detail and smoother finish, but longer print times and slightly more fragile parts; higher microns = thicker layers = faster printing, better durability, and still excellent quality for most uses.
- Tabletop Quality (50 microns) – Excellent detail and very smooth finish, optimized for durability and gameplay. Ideal for wargaming, RPGs, handling, transport, and regular table use. Provides a great balance of sharpness, strength, and reasonable print time.
- Display Quality (30 microns) – Ultra-fine resolution for maximum detail and the smoothest possible surface. Perfect for painting contests, close-up photography, dioramas, or shelf display where every tiny feature matters most.
Note: On some models only Tabletop quality (50 microns) is listed as the default option due to design complexity, size, or print stability. However, Display quality (30 microns) is available as a custom resin print option for most models — contact us after placing your order and we can upgrade it for you (additional cost applies).
Key Specs
- Scale: 28/32mm heroic (bits sized to fit standard human-sized miniatures)
- Material: High-detail PVC-like resin printed on industrial-grade printers for minimal layer lines and resistance to cracking, breaking, and drop damage
- Finish: Unpainted, ready for priming and painting
- Processing: We remove around 95% of supports during post-print cleanup, but some supports may be intentionally left on delicate areas to protect them during shipping or to prevent damage to fine details. Models will require light sanding (for any remaining support marks), assembly (if multipart), and painting by the customer. Use super glue for assembly (plastic cement is not recommended for resin).
- Shipping: Print on demand. Ships worldwide from Salt Lake City, UT; tracking provided. Production: pre-production queue of 1–3 weeks depending on demand, plus 7 days of model production (made to order).
- Compatibility Note: This miniature is an independent artist creation. It is not designed, produced, endorsed, licensed, or affiliated with Games Workshop, Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons & Dragons, Trench Crusade, or any other third-party company. It is sold for personal, non-commercial use only and is fully compliant with applicable US copyright and trademark laws.
Pro Tip: Weather them hard: chipped paint, rust streaks, dried blood, and subtle glows on the iconography—makes them look like they’ve been through every forbidden crusade. Check DakkaDakkaStore’s community for the darkest bit-bashing ideas.
